Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using UVA's website or appointment services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
1. Our Services
UVA is an independent agency that provides appointment scheduling assistance, preparation materials, and one-on-one consulting. Approval of any application or interview outcome is the sole responsibility of the relevant authority.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use our services. By using our services, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Booking Fee & Payments
Our booking fee is a flat $165 per applicant, payable in addition to any applicable MRV fees. Payment is required at the time of booking. MRV fees are non-refundable by UVA; refund requests for those fees must be made directly to the relevant agency.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
Our booking fee is refundable only if we are unable to provide the service you paid for. Cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made in writing. We reserve the right to decline refund requests where services have already been substantially performed.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information at all times.
- Attend your scheduled appointment on time with the required documents.
- Comply with all applicable laws and the policies of the relevant authority.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UVA, its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to us for the service in question.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of UVA or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute it without our prior written consent.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Provisions intended by their nature to survive termination will do so.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
